I am a translator!
Will Handbrake find its way to Taranis? I found this Slaine package:
http://packages.trisquel.info/source/slaine-updates/handbrake
Can it be used on Dagda (it isn't packaged for Dagda)?

Handbrake is not in Ubuntu's repository. I do not remember how it ended up in Trisquel 4.5 Slaine's repository. A crowd funded task maybe?

The problem is that the regular version of Handbrake uses the non-free libfaac.
