on archive.trisquel.org how do you navigate and search for
programs and packages?

For instance abrowser is located here:
archive.trisquel.org/trisquel/pool/main/f/firefox/?C=M;O=D
How do you find this website when you start at archive.trisquel.org? Thanks.

  1. Search on https://packages.trisquel.org
  2. At the bottom of a package page such as https://packages.trisquel.org/aramo-updates/abrowser click on the link corresponding to you architecture
  3. Click on the mirror of you choice on the page such as https://packages.trisquel.org/aramo-updates/amd64/abrowser/download that is then displayed.

... or simply use 'apt download' on Trisquel.

To search for programs and packages, I use "apt search" or "apt-cache search" combined with grep.

For example, the command below gives the list of xmpp clients in Trisquel:
apt-cache search xmpp |grep client |grep -wv 'library\|common\|plugin'

That said, it is sometimes difficult to proper keywords to search.
