How to recover deleted files on a USB drive? I'm not sure how this file got deleted but it has some criticle information in it that will cost me thousands of dollars if lost. It's on a USB drive i was tranfering files between two computers and it mysteriously vanished. Any help on recovering this file is greatly appreciated.

It is meant for hard drives but should work for USBs.
Be careful though. Make sure you are doing this to your USB and not your hard drive. There are many more great options to recover files, if that article is not good enough for you :)
personally I use photorec. recently I did and it worked ok. It is good enough for usb if you don't want to hassle with live cds and such. check the repo
