I dragged the Terminal icon to the bottom bar, now I decided I don't want it there anymore, so how can it be removed?

If you are using Compiz then it's ALT + Super + Right-Click.

Andrew.

I put the now unwanted icon on right after a vanilla trisquel 6.0 install, so I don't know if it came with Compiz.

EDIT: It must have, because Andrew's method worked.

It's not that it "came with Compiz", it's that you're using Compiz. If you were using Metacity, you would hold Alt and right click on the panel to modify it, but since you're using Compiz, you hold Alt+Super and right click on the panel to modify it.

That was the first thing I did after rebooting from the install.
