Indicator Applet and classic Gnome 2 look for Trisquel 5.5

With Indicator Applet ported and some extra tweaks, it seems that it may be possible to get close to the Gnome 2 look in the Ubuntu 11.10 codebase. This could be helpful for Trisquel 5.5 that wants to do both the classic look and possibly gnome shell:
