Installation problem of Trisquel 7 on laptop ASUS X554LA

Can anyone tell me, please, why I have always an horizontal line at half screen during the installation of Trisquel 7 on a laptop ASUS X554LA and a double and reduced initial screen?
(Specifications: Intel Core i3 5005U 2,0 Ghz, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500).

I do not have the answer. A curiosity though: if you take a screenshot (e.g., using the PrtScr key that puts the screenshot in the "Images" folder), does the line appear (try moving the window displaying the screenshot)?
Do you get the normal resolution once you log in? Have you tried to set the resolution in grub?

You need to edit /etc/default/grub as super user and then run update-grub as super user afterwards. The variable is GRUB_GFXMODE, see https://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/grub.txt
