Left Click Will Not Open File or Folder

Trisquel 32-bit
Gnome Version 3.8.6
Intel Core 2 Duo

Hello all,

I am unable to open folders or files with left-click or double left-click.

(Left-click does work for menu items.)

This is a fairly new install, but I don't remember it being a problem after install. I think it developed recently.

I've searched for the answer, and one person seemed to have the same trouble on Trisquel-mini, but I'm using Belenos using Gnome.

Any help would be appreciated. As you can imagine it slows down my work.

Well, after some time of frustration and more looking and reading, my mouse right and left click inexplicably started to work again.

Not sure why it just decided to not work.

Might be dirty USB connections ... unplugging & re-plugging usually fixes that problem.
