I have tested Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu Mate 16.04, Ubuntu XFCE 16.04, Linux Mint MATE 17.3 and all boot but I dont get Trisquel 7 Netinstall to boot from the USB stick. When I choose USB in Libreboot it stands there for a couple of mins and then comes back to Libreboot menu.
USB flash method I use https://libreboot.org/docs/gnulinux/grub_boot_installer.html#prepare
Suggestions?

Same here on my X200 with Libreboot. Trisquel ISO boots, Trisquel
Mini ISO boot, Trisquel Netinstall ISO doesn't boot.

Off topic but funny, I guess - I installed Xubuntu on a friend's laptop (the hardware is horrible, ati gpu and broadcom wifi adapter, so, no libre distro) and in the few hours I spent to install and customize the system I found more bugs (much more) than I have found on Debian in a year..
I had that problem as well, and if I remember correctly, fchmmr (Libreboot's author) told me to simply use a full Trisquel USB stick, since I can choose to make a netinstall from it anyway.
It's not fresh in my memory, but I think you can select manual install or something.

Apart from the graphic installer there's a text mode installer
that works online only - thus, a netinstaller.
