I've updated my APT repository for Linux-libre; https://jxself.org/linux-libre to include support for the 64-bit ARMv8 architecture, referred to as 'aarch64' or 'arm64' in various places.

My understanding is that it should work on any 64-bit ARM device where the kernel has support for the hardware and where an appropriate Device Tree structure exists.

Thanks. Is it also possible to install the kernels offered in your repository on Hyperbola (which currently ships Linux-libre 4.9)?

I think Hyperbola uses a different package manager (not apt.) So; no - not directly.

Hyperbola uses Pacman. It strives to be a stable release and only packages long term releases whenever possible (which is why they offer version 4.9). It would be great if you could make a linux-libre repo (such as AUR packages) for that distro so Hyperbola users can try out newer kernels (incidentally, the 4.9 kernel doesn't work with a ThinkPenguin TV card due to a bug so using a different kernel will also enable using the card).

Great! Any plans to support ARMv7?

Yes, but you're jumping ahead of me.

I have now added kernel packages for 32-bit ARMv7 with hardware FPU (called armhf by the package manager.)
