LXDE moving from GTK to Qt

Sounds awesome to me, I use KDE on my primary computer almost all the way since the change to Gnome 3. There are more Qt applications that I can't live without than GTK ones.
There is some speculations from what I read on other sites. Speculations such as:
- Lxde will join razor-q team. They will be part of KDE.

I heard that the Razor-qt people were considering using a PCManFM as
their own file manager for Razor-qt, and maybe some other LXDE programs.
The great thing about LXDE is that the components have always been well
separated, so they can easily be replaced with others.

The Razor-Qt project has been stagnant and I'm glad that two free software projects are actually working together to create something better. I'm curious to see how LXDE works when they move to Qt and the quality of applications that are merged from GTK to Qt.
Canonicial's "Unity Next" is going to be Qt based, so maybe it was smart for the LXDE team to test the waters with Qt and get the benefits of Mir down the road.
