Greetings,

I use Mega Sync - https://mega.nz - in other computers - Can I use it on Trisquel too?

If so what distribution should I use? - https://mega.nz/#sync

There are many options for linux...

Thanks in advance and all the best for this project.

I'm using it too. I downloaded the version for Ubuntu 14.04, as that is the version Trisquel 7 is based on, more or less.
I had to download the .deb on my desktop and import it to my netbook, as neither Midori nor Icecat will connect to mega.nz .

@CalmStorm do you use a cloud service?

Do you recommend any?

Thanks in advance.

P.s I just read the articles about Mega - Scary stuff. Thanks for the links CalmStorm.

personally i dont recommend them and i think there own software is
proprietary :( but i recently learned of free software command line
tools to download files more easily from mega [1].
which is useful when i come across other peoples mega links :(

tx for megatools, it might be useful. I like plowshare to download (and upload) to several file sharing websites (mediafire, dfiles, rapidgator, keepshare etc).
