Hi,

has anybody here already done this?

At least for migrating from Manjaro, there is some information out there. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be the case regarding Arch Labs and Arch Anywhere.

Background is that I would like to have a graphical installer, which Parabola does not offer yet (except the still experimental version on the bottom of their download page, where full-disk encryption does not work according to other sources).

So my questions are:
1) can I except a clean, equal version of Parabola when migrating from Manjaro correctly?
2) what problems could I run into that are not mentioned on the Parabola wiki article? (https://wiki.parabola.nu/Migration_from_Manjaro)
3) how likely is it that migration from Arch Labs or Arch Anywhere is more or less the same as migration from Manjaro?

Installing Parabola completely from the command line would be workful for me, but not impossible. If there's an easier way, I would prefer it.

I have been playing with the thought to install Hyperbola...but can I be sure that enough people are working on it/they have enough resources to offer things like security updates as fast as possible?

I was leaning more to Parabola than to Hyperbola because it seems that more people are working on it than on Hyperbola. The bleeding edge factor was not really important.

What are your thoughts on this aspect?

Also, what guide do you mean? I just found this: https://wiki.hyperbola.info/doku.php?id=en:guide:encrypted_installation

You can watch the video authored by Luke Smith on YT in which he undergoes the process of migrating from Arch to Parabola.
