I used the mirror that was listed in the Trisquel cd, but apparently it is down? It was slow too. So hopefully they either are getting an upgrade or Trisquel 10 will not have it listed.
I have sometime the same problem. Do you know why some mirrors are too slow? Around 50 kb/s
Spread the work around: when one mirror isn't responding, tell the software updater to choose "other"
in the Download menu, then let the system select the best one. Works for me; there's never been any
conflict between the versions of trisquel available from any of the long list of mirror sites.
Just tried to order from mirror.linux.pizza and got this error:
E:The repository 'https://mirror.linux.pizza/trisquel/packages etiona Release' does not have a Release file., W:Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default., W:See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details., E:The repository 'https://mirror.linux.pizza/trisquel/packages etiona-updates Release' does not have a Release file.
I wrote to the mirror admins, they said they are looking into it.
Did not have more success checking for updates on that mirror since I posted the above.
I have the same problem. I made a reinstallation of Etiona. All went well but I can't update. I tried changing repository but the result is the same. On other pc with the same OS no problem.
You might want to try using one of the images hosted here,
As the ones on the page need to be updated, maybe next friday it will be updated.
Cheers!
thanks Ark74, I'll wait till they update.
