My letter to Nvidious

I don't know how influential will be in their future decisions but I like
it.

I think it's very well-written.

You've done a good thing. The more vocal the free software community is, the more likely manufacturers like NVidia will be to accommodate us.

I would suggest to strike out the word morally because probably they do not
have the same point of view. The best is to call upon their own motivations
and values: money, market value, market presence, brand name, support from
activists, broader presence with libre distros, etc. I agree with you with
the moral value of free software and with the importance of presnting
freedom as essential but this should be presented as a personal position and
not universal one to have greater acceptance and make it eventually
universal. :-)
