Hi everybody,
I was checking out the web a little trying to find a solution to my problem. It's when i open up nautilus. Everything is ok i mean it pop up fast enough but my cursor stays busy way too long. Maybe 15 seconds. Is anybody having this issue?
Thanks!
Oh... In trisquel, is nautilus always runs as sudo? Like gksudo?
Of course not! Try creating/removing a file where you should not (e.g., in /): you cannot.
What WM are you using?
Yes, I experienced this under Gnome 3 in Parabola/Arch GNU/Linux some time
ago. You open up nautilus from places applet, window show up, all working,
but cursor spins as "busy" for some time. Currently I use awesome wm with
half of Gnome and do not have such a problem.
Here is the post on Arch forum where i find a solution:

Thank you Revelation. I know about this. But this still are not suppose to do
this i think.... I've never seen this before. Did you experience something
similar?
What i ahve seen on the web is that much peolpe having this "problem". Well it's not a problem but more a "WTF?". Why the cursor is spinning so long when i open up nautilus?
Try to edit file with text editor
$ sudo nano /usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop
locate and change line:
StartupNotify=true
to
StartupNotify=false
This is for system-wide, if you want change it for current user, copy wihtout sudo
$ cp /usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop ~/.local/share/applications/.
and then edit it
$ nano ~/.local/share/applications/nautilus.desktop
