New Trisquel user

I am an new user of Trisquel. I have been using Linux for many years. Mostly debian and gentoo. Most recently Devuan. I find trisquel a very satisfying distro. I had not used mate for a long time, but mostly used xfce. After trying mate out for a few weeks I have now again installed xfce. No problems.

I am a musician and most happy with what is available. One exception for me is musescore. The version in the repositories are simply to old. But an appimage does work but unstable. The age of this program is a shame because it is a part of gnu itself.

I have two other suggestions:

Why is the hwe-enabled version of the kernel not the default or at least available on the install image. That will solve a lot of newcomers problems. User who need the stability of the old kernel will know how to install it.

The other is why you do not have some of the free wifi dongles on sale in the gift shop. I would accept a good overprice there, and on the same time have an easy solution to the most common problem with linux libre.
