I actually checked Trisquel a few weeks ago on my X220, Wi-Fi wasn't a big problem i just used Ethernet instead. Though there was only one annoying problem I've had with it and it's that the pack cppman is not up-to-date. It's usually not the biggest problem to use not-so-new versions of packs as Trisquel is a stable release distro as far as i know, though cppman is actually faulty at the moment at main repos as it's using the version 0.5.3 and can't perform it's tasks of searching for C++ references on a few websites. I checked the github page of the pack and seems like the problem was solved at 0.5.4 though the current version for the pack is 0.5.9 on Ubuntu and Debian and the latest version being 0.6.0 as it was released 2 weeks ago it looks like.

I tried checking Trisquel's package website though i only found cppman on the aramo repo with the version 0.5.3. Is there a testing repo or something like so on Trisquel with the updated repo? If so, let me know as i'm still new to the Trisquel environment, if not, i'm just sending this topic as a heads up for maintainers.

(Sorry, If i should've used the Issues part of GitLab repo of Trisquel, i couldn't find the cppman pack on there so i couldn't report from there)

Trisquel 12's repository has version 0.5.6. To upgrade to Trisquel 12: https://gitlab.trisquel.org/trisquel/package-helpers/-/issues/245

Ah alright, thanks. Though i guess I'll wait until an official update is made about it. The author is pretty much warning that it's not a very tested out method themselfs.

I wonder when it will release to be honest, there's already a wiki page about it it looks like: https://trisquel.info/en/wiki/ecne

Ecne is very well stable, we only lack the proper launch announcement from our project leader :)
