Hi guys, I'm trying to change gdm with lightdm, but when I try to install that here is what I get:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
lightdm : Depends: plymouth (>= 0.8.2-2ubuntu31.1) but 0.8.2-2ubuntu31+6.0trisquel2 is to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Trisquel has patched Plymouth (for accessibility reason?). If you try to remove those packages, most of the system goes with it.

If you really want a Trisquel system with LightDM, you had better try to install Trisquel's NetIntsall, followed by LightDM and eventually your desktop of choice... but will GNOME be available? Trisquel's GNOME probably depends on the specific version of Plymouth.

Mine aim was focussed to have a easier customizable DM so I was looking for lightdm because GDM is a bit hard to.
