Remove Main Menu icons

How to disable icons in Main Menu? I only want the text & no icons in the menu.

In Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Theme, change "Menus Have Icons" to "No".
In Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Theme, change "Menus Have Icons" has a option 'on'/'off'.
Its already set to 'off'. The icons are still displayed in the Main menu.
Ah, OK, I guess that doesn't apply to the Fallback main menu.
Sorry, I don't use GNOME Fallback, I use GNOME Shell and Xfce.
ok, i missed the change. The icons for 'Places', 'Lock Screen', 'Switch User', 'Logout', 'Shutdown' are disabled.
The icons for all the applications (including categories) are still visible. How to disable them?

One way of doing it would be to create a transparent .png picture in Gimp, 1x1 pixel. Then set it as the icon for all of the things in the main menu.
You can edit the main menu here: System Settings -> Main Menu. Or just rightclick on the main menu itself and click on Edit Menus.
Thanks. That doesnt disable the icons, but it does fix the load time delay of the menu items. Its quick now.
Doing it manually via the 'edit menu' option was laborious.
What is the config file used by 'Main Menu' that contains the paths to icons?
