From here: https://wiki.debian.org/RISC-V the hifive board is the only existing board at the moment with a RISC-V processor. Knowing that eoma68 could have in the future a RISC-V processor these cannot be than good news.

I feel like this sentence was mistyped. Can you clarify what you mean? Are you saying that you think the hifive is bad news for EOMA68?

I am saying that the fact that a real RISC-V board is available is pushing the porting of debian to this architecture. When other alternatives using the RISC-V will be available, they will have a usable OS available. With them also free alternatives as eoma68, hopefully.

I see. Yes, Debian supporting RISC-V a very good thing. I'm optimistic about RISC-V.
