Starting from March 2020, Richard Stallman's speeches in person had to be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. After the resrictions were reduced, he held his first in-person speech in Kyiv, Ukraine, on September 18, 2021.
During that speech, he was welcomed back with applause twice."

Tar files can contain anything, including malware.
I wonder if the forum software scans for malware in attachments uploaded (it should). I suppose tar is allowed and ogv not because as such tar is not executable. It's also compliant with the traditional UNIX way harking back to the days of yore. Tar is good and useful.
