Yes. This seemed, to me, to be a spur-of-the-moment photo: The GNU 40 events was going on. Then one of the organizers said to the audience "Who wants to have their picture taken with RMS? If so go outside right now." Then the GNU 40 event was paused while people went to go do that. I decided to go.

Let's give it a try: Who can name the hackers in the picture?

What happened to all of RMS's hair? Did emacs 'rm -r' it?

The video seems to show that RMS is still in good spirits. He even makes a little fun of his chemotherapy port.
