Is it likely that Trisquel 6.0 will be released by the end of the year?
I'm preparing to build a new computer and want to time it with the 6.0 LTS release for minimum disruption.

If the tradition is respected, it will be released September 15th, the Software Freedom day.

So basically it is a month or so away and Rubes hasn't picked a name yet nor given us any news yet. Is he beta testing new files? Tweaking the latest Gnome Fallback and grvrulz theme to be better than the hot mess in 5.5? Will we finally get Unity support?
Don't leap to the conclusion that it is only a month or so away. As Magic Banana says if things go according to tradition then it will be released on software freedom day. But we may also have to observe the old saying "it is done when it is done".
As far as I know there is no beta released and no news so far.
