Anyone else seeing a problem with Trisquel 7 determining the proper
resolution of monitors?

I've got an LG W3000H that can do 2560x1600 but Trisquel 7 shows me
1920x1440. As a result everything is large and wider than it should be.

Do you have an AMD graphics card?

There might be one in that computer, I'll have to take a look next time
I'm using that system. I recall that the graphics section of the
"Details" settings panel says the "VESA: RV730" driver is being used.

I'm guessing that you ask about AMD graphics cards because AMD graphics
cards need some nonfree software to fully recognize a monitor's
resolution above a certain screen size?

If so, any recommendations on what graphics card to use instead?

Thanks.
