trisquel's main menu overlaps with panel when an extended monitor is present

Hi, someone may have had this problem before and I wanted to share what I have found.

Whenever there is an extended monitor desktop, and I try to open the main menu on the panel, the menu overlaps with the panel instead of been display on the top border of it. I'll upload a picture so that I can show you what I mean.

This would be fine excepted that most of the time, the menu ends up receiving the mouse release, most of the time in the shut down menu entry, which opens the shut down dialogue and closing the menu when you where just trying to open the menu by clicking it.

I notice that the position of the extended monitor influences in the problem, but the only position I have tried and work is to put the extended monitor left down corner right in the main monitor top left corner. Other positions even on top of the main monitor don't work.

I work around I'm using is moving the menu to the top or borders, where the menu is display correctly.

Hope fully there is a fix for this or won't be present in trisquel 8.
