I am not familiar with windows phones.

Is it using mtp?

Some people report the same problem, which was solved by rebooting the phone.

This is a hard question though, not many people uses windows phones and I doubt more people here having this phone.

This is more technical but might also help:

My mom's MS Lumina phone wouldn't mount either, a year or so ago. I assumed that it was desigend that way to make people use MS' server to access photos etc from a PC.

If I guessed right about their reason for not letting the phone mount, then I doubt that it will mount on a Windows computer.

I had this issue years back and I never could solve it. Figured it was just another one of Microsoft's little silly technical choices that was designed to lessen the non-windows experience.

Was one of the reasons I moved to free software.
