Updateing Robur

I cannot use my update manager to upgrade from Robur to Taranis. Is there a work around for this? Don't want to get left beind. Rick
Could you be more precise?
If the package manager does not suggest you Taranis, have you checked the "Update" tab in the "Software sources" (in the System/Administration" menu)? The "distribution update" should be set to "LTS versions".
The English strings may differ from what I am writing. I am translating from French...

Sorry for delay in responding...Easter observance. The tab was on the update manager saying the LTS 4.0 (no name, but Taranis) was available. When I pressed the tab, I got a message saying that this update manager could not update from Robur to 4.0. Thanks.
Well... if it is clearly stated so, I guess you do not have any choice but to install Taranis from the ISO. If you have not put /home on a separated partition, you need to backup your data before!

OK. More to the story. I should have looked more carefully on the site. When I did, I found this instruction for upgrading from 2.2 and 3.5:
sudo update-manager -d
This looked very promising for a while. An upgrading tool was downloaded which got me further than before. Then, the process stopped with this brief message: Cannot upgrade--An upgrade from 'robur' to 'taranis' is not supported with this tool.
I got this message on my console:
