Use android as virtual keyboard/mouse over Trisquel 8

Hello,

I wish to use my android device as wifi/bluetooth mouse or keyboard so I can do some small tasks on my Trisquel 8 machine (such as refreshing a webpage or cancelling a download) when I am a few feet away from it. I know I could get a bluetooth keyboard but I would rather use what I have available (android device) rather than spending money buying another thing that will end up taking up space at home.
In F-Droid I couldn't get any app that does the job, searching on Github I found some projects but most only work for Windows. I thought someone could have experience doing this same thing and could share a Free Software solution.
Thanks in advance!

KDE Connect works well in mate.
Haven't tried with Trisquel but it should be the same.

Thanks. I wanted o avoid this one for fear that it would depend on many KDE packages but I see that's not the case. I will try it out. Thanks!
