When the ISO gets updated for Trisquel 6 hopefully soon, I hope the developers have the LTS stack enabled by default and installs the lts-belenos (3.5) kernel and the xorg lts-quantal files. Ubuntu does it for their 12.04.2 release, so why not us?

Why you are at it, why not update the atheros-firmware package with the new firmware located at http://jxself.org/ath9k-htc/ and have it sitting in the /lib/firmware/ directory on the Live CD and after the OS is installed.

The CD needs to return to previous glory:
1. Choosing the LiveCD option doesn't require a login. Many times it just sits there and doesn't actually log you in.
2. The Install Trisquel 6 option just gives you the console and the Installer box placed on top of it.
3. Text install just sits there at a blue screen with a grey bar at the bottom.

Its not my system becuase for testing I did a 4.0 live CD option and was able to play around. When I wanted to install from the live option, there were no issues. Heck, even the text install was flaweless.

Oh and the installer issues mentioned in https://trisquel.info/en/forum/not-getting-ability-upgrade are gone. For shits and gigs I installed 4.0 from scratch (smooth as always), got the latest versions of the files from the repos, and did an upgrade in Ugrade Manager to 6. Near the end my installer died and gave me an error (which is common too with 10.04 to 12.03 updates) that is tied to python-minimal.

Please please please please update the ISO for Trisquel 6 to fix these issues and include updated files!

I can't edit the original file, but what I meant to say in #1 is the future removal of requiring a login to access the LiveCD. I had to hunt down the username and password on these forums. It wasn't in past releases, so why do it now?
