I originally bought my Libreboot X200 with Trisquel 8 and managed to get the bluetooth working after running the following commands:

hcitool dev
sudo apt install blueman
sudo apt install pulseaudio-module-bluetooth
pactl load-module-bluetooth-discover

Since I upgraded to Trisquel 9 my computer can't discover the bluetooth adapter and I'm not sure what to try to fix it. When I run the command 'hcitool dev', no devices are discovered. Maybe someone else has had this issue?

run lsusb -t to see whether there is a device whose driver is btusb.

Hi nadebula.1984 I just tried that and got the following. It looks like there is non with a btusb driver. Is that an issue do you think?

I would think the problem is that you have wireless hardware switch in the off position. There should be a mechanical switch on the left side of the notebook.

Amazing thank you so much eric23! I had no idea there was a physical switch for the bluetooth :)
