While I was using gajim (configuring icons for groups), Xorg crashed.

I have been using linux libre 6.9.0-rc6 for several days, this is the first time it happened. I am attaching the log of Xorg, which shows the crash by the end. Syslog has nothing aroung the time it happened.

Maybe this would be a good thread to ask the devs if they could backport a newer copy of gajim for you, 1.8.2 or later so you get the ability to adjust font sizes. A newer version also might be more stable and not be as likely to bring down Xorg.

I switched to gajim v1.8.4, flatpak version. I had a problem not being able to decipher messages on an encrypted OMEMO group chat (and people could not decipher my messages), with this version no problem anymore, and indeed, I can adjust the font size in gajim.

This does not look like a Trisquel package. Do you have a specific reason not to use one of the Trisquel kernels?

Not really. As parabola wasn't booting on that computer with linux libre kernels, I wanted to try with that one, and it also turned out that it has the nice property of supporting the accelerated graphics of the computer, unlike Trisquel kernel. However, I don't really need that accelerated graphics so I decided to now use the default Trisquel kernel. I tried the hardware enablement package from Trisquel, with the kernel of that one the computer won't boot.
