Hi.

I have several times read how seriously problematic Javascript can be.

I love Zeronet. It uses Javascript.

What are the dangers of Zeronet?

What are your thoughts on Zeronet's security?

Do you use it?

Would you use it?

Can you think of any solution?

Would you use Zeronet if every Zite complied with LibreJS?

Thank you.

I use zeronet on a dedicated craptop. Zeronet is very cool although still new and hence the number of websites in there is still quite low. Cool things are already to be found there though.
The dangers of js using Zeronet is the same danger js represents for your regular FF browser browsing.

Hm... ZeroNet is very cool in terms of how the network works, but I feel that the fact that all the sites currently require JavaScript to do anything, and none of this JavaScript code even comes with a license, is setting a dangerous precedent. I also don't like how in practice, everything is extremely centralized. There's a central hub, a central ID system, a central messaging service, etc. Yeah, everyone who uses ZeroNet hosts the services, but they're still centrally controlled.

Yep, don't use it on an important machine maybe, use a dedicated one, a spare one, old laptops are cheap..
