Finnish company Zyptonite Oy has launched replacement for Skype. Zyptonite is an open-source and its peer-to-peer technology means your video calls are crystal clear and completely private. Zyptonite keeps your calls connected even in the elevator and when you have no reception. In addition, it offers a lightning-fast file transfer while you talk. This is real time communication as it should be.

It doesn't say it's free software.

The only thing i can see is that at the end of the site it is writing: "All rights reserved by Zyptonite Inc 2015".
I think that this software doenst respect the 4 principles, to see the code , modify and so on... so.. unless they specifically express that is free software, that we can study the code, modify it.. no thanks.

This made it impossible for me to find more about this product. In the source code I noticed they recommend Fecesbook...

Both the sound and the video work great. I often talk to my family (Brazil-France communication) over Firefox Hello. I simply send them the URL Firefox Hello creates and we are good to go.
