If you go to the Sound panel in settings, go to the Sound Effects tab, change the sound effect from Default to something different and then change it back to Default, you don't get the same sound you originally had. In dconf, the "real" default is org.gnome.desktop.sound.theme-name=freedesktop, but the Sound panel sets that key to "ubuntu" when you click Default.
Is 'drip' supposed to be the 'real' default? I had this on fresh installation of Trisquel 7 and on T7 live media. I( can reproduce this inconsistency by, first, setting alert sound to 'bark', then back to 'default', and getting the pop sound I used to have in Trisquel 6.1.
