Missing input sources indicator

Input sources indicator does not appear after adding keyboard layouts in System Settings -> Region & Language -> Input Sources. Keyboard shortcuts to switch between them start working only after logout. Also the list of Input Sources is empty by default, shouldn't there be an input source chosen during the installation? Tested in Trisquel 7 RC.

Problem persists in the release version of Trisquel 7.
