The ipw2100 driver is been deblobbed, but not blacklisted. When it load once, it cant be unload any more without an Call Trace. The system cant shutdown any more. Modprobe -r also causes a Call Trace.
Add the driver the other blacklisted drivers is the simple solution. The driver is useless without the firmware.
'patch ready' means a merge request with the fix has been submitted on devel.trisquel.info and means your issue with be overlooked as 'all done bar the shouting.'
Does this problem cause data loss? Or does the problem happen after the disks have synced at shutdown?
