Unable to see desktop notifications after installing/upgrading packages.

While facing this problem, I've installed gdm and reinstalled (consequently upgraded) xserver related packages.

But I can't see any desktop notification when I run notify-send. notify-send command works well but desktop-notification is not displaying.

I (again/back) configured lightdm as default session manager.

Unable to edit the text of above issue; just note that last line "I (again/back) configured lightdm as default session manager." is note. That doesn't solve the issue.
