Hi there.
The laptop battery is fully charged however the laptop dies when the power is pulled.
I came across this with a very expensive Toshiba laptop and CentOS 7.0 and order a replacement battery which worked for about 6 weeks and the same thing happened again. No amount of battery pulls and power board resets resolved the problem. My brother has put windows 10 on it and says it works fine on mains or battery.
I am now using A VERY old Advent 6553 laptop and the same thing is happening. Could it a bug that is coming though to Trisquel mini 8.0? How do I get my battery back
*** Although the version says 9.0 there is no 8.0 available on the drop down menu in project information.
I have attached a screen shot showing the battery with a healthy charge but non available?
Removing the main and CMOS battery and resetting the power board by holding down the power button for 20 seconds, reconnecting the CMOS battery, setting up CMOS battery settings, booting and shutting down, reconnecting main battery has resolved.
