Mate Dictionary
With Mate Dictionary you can look up words or terms in a dictionary source. Depending on your needs, there are a lot of databases ready to discover. You will need a working internet connection to use it.
Using Mate Dictionary
This is a quick guide about how to use the Mate Dictionary tool.
- In the Main Menu go to Accessories→Mate Dictionary
First, you will see the following window. The most important features can be found in the View-Menu
- Select Available Databases or press CTRL+B
- If necessary click the icon to reload the list of available databases.
- Then select a database to use from the list in the sidebar.
- Type a word or term to look up and press [Enter].
That's all about the basic usage of Mate Dictionary! Try to select another database and look up a word or term.
