Has anyone managed to libreboot a Dell Latitiude E6420 (Intel GPU)?

I've Librebooted some think pads in the past with no issues but This Latitude is a real head scratchier. I've tried following the instructions on https://libreboot.org/docs/install/e6430.html but I end up flicking between the instructions, git hub and error central when I try to compile on the laptop.

I may well be overlooking something but I'm really not sure why everything has to be compiled from source. I don't remember having to do this for the Thinkpads. I've spent a ton of hours trying to decipher my way though with only a ton of compiling errors.

I'm using a fresh updated Ubuntu 24.04 running on Dell Latitude E6420 (Intel GPU)
