QT5 Error When Trying to Use GTK2 Theme

By default certain programs like KeePassXC don't respect whatever dark theme I use. Usually what I try to do on any of my systems to make these programs look right is go into QT5 Settings and set the style to GTK2. This ensures that those programs respect whatever dark theme I have installed. I have noticed that on my Trisquel systems (both 9 and 10) I can't do this due to an error that appears whenever I have the GTK2 style installed (even if I don't have it set). I attached a screenshot. This also introduces another issue where the startup time to open such programs goes from 1-2 seconds to 6-8 seconds. If I uninstall the GTK2 style both the error message and startup time issue are solved. On my Linux Mint 20.3 and Manjaro systems I don't run into this issue as it just lets me set GTK2 style with no error message or startup time penalty. Any ideas on how to solve this ?
