Description

Midori requires a plug-in to play web video (and audio?) which aren't installed by default in Trisquel Mini 6.0

Video is one of the most common things a user might want to view on the internet. Midori doesn't point out that it's missing a plug-in, just fails to play the media at all. So, the user might never know what's wrong with the browser or that it just requires a quick software install.

The plug-in is usually a gstreamer plug-in: I got web video working by installing gstreamer pulse. Unless there's some issue with gstreamer in Trisquel Mini, I think it should be installed by default (like in Trisquel) to ensure a complete browser experience.

In the Trisquel Mini 7.0 beta I can, once I've entered the HTML5 trial, play and hear the YouTube videos I tried.

So fixed in R7.0.
