In "Abrowser Preferences"-"Advanced"-"Data Choices" (I went there because a recent notification in the down part of the abrowser window about privacy).
It is said (very unclearly, but probably it is due to Mozilla) that some data is being sent to Trisquel.
FIRST: Is data being really sent to someone? If yes, Mozilla or Trisquel? Don't lie the user.
SECOND: There is a link to "Learn More" (which could clarify the message) which is broken since it goes to mozilla site but with "abrowser" in the URL.
http://www.mozilla.org/es-ES/legal/privacy/abrowser.html#health-report
Does it apply?
THIRD: The spanish translation is even more difficult to understand and with errors.
I think it is important don't lie the user, even more when privacy is related, so I gave it critical importance.
This is a new option in Firefox 21. I agree that perhaps it should be disabled by default, and opt-in instead. The package helper will need to be updated to do this.
You might want to open a new bug report regarding the language errors.
Confirming. I noticed this bug too. It is critical that it gets opted out by default and that the link gets fixed or removed.
Fixed by quidam for Abrowser 24 (see gitweb).
P.S. is status "wrong" the correct status for a now-fixed bug?
