Hi all,

I am neither able to sign in using my account for syncing on Abrowser nor able to create a new one using Abrowser. I have no problem with the Firefox I've directly downloaded from mozilla.org

Trisquel 6.0.1
Abrowser 29.0

I had the same issue. It was supposed to have been fixed, but I guess it hasn't.

I have the same problem with the latest edition of Trisquel. And how to install firefox? Whenever I try sudo apt-get install firefox it opens up ABrowser.

Abrowser is Firefox without the Firefox branding. Firefox's branding restrictions make the vanilla program non-free software, so instead, the developers took Firefox, removed the Firefox branding, made a few other tweaks, and packaged it as Abrowser. If you are using Abrowser, you are essentially using Firefox. It's the same code underneath.

So in that case, how does Firefox sync work and ABrosers syck doesnt? I can only think then, syncing required hidden code.

Same issue in our forum (spanish) check it out https://trisquel.info/es/forum/%C2%BFsincronizar-marcadores-de-abrowser-con-firefox

try with about:config

add a new "chain" services.sync.username

set value 0

I added what you said. Still the issue persists.

What about IceCat?

Oh and what's Abrowser's user agent (might it have something to do with it?)?
