I can see that Whonix anonymous os making alot of hardening effort to their distro not just from anonymity point view but so as security, wonder if trisquel devs interested into taking that into their distro as well e.g:

* In Stable phase:

https://github.com/Whonix/security-misc

https://github.com/Whonix/kloak (Best use case for privacy/anonymity)

https://github.com/Whonix/tirdad

* In Testing/Development phase:

https://github.com/Whonix/hardened_malloc

https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Linux_Kernel_Runtime_Guard_LKRG

https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Hardened-kernel

https://github.com/Whonix/apparmor-profile-everything

* KickSecure might be interesting to see (only security without anonymity):

First of all, hello everybody. I've been using Trisquel over a year and I decided to join this community. I'm excited to meet you and discuss about free software! :)

About the topic, I also think that Trisquel should take some things from Whonix. The ones that interested me the most where AppArmor profile and sdwdate.

Having a common machine ID on every computer with Trisquel installed would also be nice.
