Is it hard to create a new netinstall ISO?

We never got a final 6.1 ISO with the Saucy kernel, but how hard is it to create a new net install ISO to have the Saucy kernel as one of the options?

I may upgrade my PC soon and don't want to be stuck with the old 3.2 kernel hoping everything works.
