As of Version 9.0 Columbia relicensed C-Kermit under the modified/revised 3 clause BSD license. I've checked the upstream package and it is so licensed. Pleased remove the block on the package and add it to the Belenos repo.
The package is still in the 'multiverse' (non-free) repo of Ubuntu either in Trusty or Utopic. But it is in the main repo of Debian Stable or Testing and in the 'non-free' repo of Debian oldstable.

I guess Ubuntu just forgot to move it to universe.
GFSD Issue 7957 [1] is marked upstream waiting for this package to come down. I've coded a patch to bring it in from multiverse and will link it from there.
Closing this as duplicate.

The patch hasn't been accepted. And thinking about that, this isn't a strict duplicate. So this is the old patch for this issue

Assigning myself to review and rework both issues.
