Please Make A VPN Network Popup Notification

I just installed 4.5 x86_64 and I use VPN and I noticed that eth0 has a network notification popup when you are connected and disconnected so I'm assuming so does WiFi, but someone forgot to put in a notification popup for VPN... :(

There is after all a VPN Network Manager plugin, so can someone PLEASE make a notification popup for VPN for Trisquel?

I hope someone will please include this in a soon to be released system update, from the Update Manger...

Apparently the popup notification has been added to Ubuntu 10.10 (Trisquel 5.5) however I can not verify. Could someone who uses a VPN test this to confirm that you receive a notification?
