Unable to upgrade Gnash via GNU DNS PPA w/o taking out metapackages

1) I added the GNU PPA to the Software Sources.
2) I updated the system and was given the option to update Gnash but the system needs to take out the following:

* browser-plugin-gnash
* trisquel-desktop-common-recommended
* trisquel-recommended

Is there a way to upgrade Gnash with GNU PPA w/o taking out the last two?

I am marking this as "won't fix" for a couple reasons.

Firstly, at this time (June 2nd, 2012) the version of gnash in the repos is the latest version. Upgrading "via ppa" doesn't do anything significant. If anything it just simply removes the small modification Trisquel makes to gnash (which is to change startStopped to default).

Secondly, if you are adding an external PPA we can't support that (in a technical sense). You could post on the forums about how to solve the problem but it is not an issue with the Trisquel operating system for devs to fix. Thus I am closing this.
