IceCat has "Trisquel Abrowser Modifications" installed by default and it cannot be removed from within the browser. However, sudo apt-get remove abrowser removes it without interfering with IceCat.
What do "Trisquel Abrowser Modifications" do for IceCat and do we really need it?
Is it recommended and safe to run IceCat without or without "Trisquel Abrowser Modifications"?
I realize that we need both Abrowser (Firefox-based) and GNU IceCat (Firefox ESR-based) in Trisquel. I didn't realize the difference they were based on until recently.
